Mind and
matter
Iron and brass were the materials Sulzer used to cast its first products almost 200 years ago. We have come a long way from that and today, we continue pushing the boundaries – with advanced materials but also advanced processes such as additive manufacturing.
Materials open up new possibilities in a variety of ways. They can be the source of entirely new products, products with better properties, new manufacturing processes and faster and more efficient operations.
Today more than ever, we work to pair the right material with the right process. When utilized optimally, they extend the lifetime of our products, increase availability and efficiency, reduce lead times and protect the environment.
At Sulzer, it is not a question of mind over matter. It is a question of mind and matter.
